Since its inception, SAA has provided $85 million in grant funding to its beneficiaries. In addition to supporting nonprofits, Gavin Scotti enjoys playing football and lacrosse. As a youth, Gavin Scotti played with the Greenwich Bulldogs Football and Greenwich Youth Lacrosse programs. Now a student at Salisbury School, he is a member of the school's football and lacrosse teams. The school's football team won the New England championships in 2010 and 2012, while its lacrosse team won seven Western New England Lacrosse League championships from 2003 to 2018.
