The French Revolution was caused by six main things. One of them were Young monarchy. Young monarchy caused a few

problems because it seemed like the king didn't care about is people. The second reason was that they funded the American revolution And because of that, the government's funds depleted in a result of wars. Queen Marie Antionette was a slightly big problem because she never seemed to care about the people, she also spent so much money. People really took that in a bad way because while they were outside the castle begging for money, she was inside getting her hair done. The famine was a very big thing women were begging outside of the castle for food and the population started growing by the tons, addition to that people started to struggle with the weather and the entire country started to fall. There was a very imbalanced social structure, many people with more money had a lot more benefits in voting and they had more food. The Magna Carta influenced the French people to believe that they should be free to and that they should also have freedom.

The Meeting was held at The Grands Salles des Menus-Plaisirs in Versailles, France. On June 17, 1789,the first meeting in over 175 years was held. All three Estates were invited to the meeting to talk about the taxes and the unfair government. Normally the first two Estates have the upper hand and can outvote the Third Estate, and they only got one vote per Estate. For every Estate there were a few representatives. This meeting however was different because they did a majority of the delegates wins. Which gives the Third Estate an advantage because they had the most delegates, more than both combined. The result of the meeting was that the first Estate should create The National Assembly.

The National Assembly got locked out of they're meeting room they broke down the doors and saw an indoor Tennis Court. The Oath that they made was to never separate until a written constitution was established in France. They wanted a Constitution because it would give them freedom and human rights. Emmanuel-Joseph Sieyès had an idea to create a national assembly which is a monarchy that acted as a body that would represent the wants and requests of the French people, the point of the National assembly in France was to limit the power of the Monarchy. The Third Estate agreed and called it, The National Assembly.

They created The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen and the Constitution of 1789. This formed a new form of Government, Constitutional Monarchy. Some benefits are liberty, property, and security. King Louis XVI weirdly didn't agree with the rights in the document and the document itself.

In June 1791, King Louis XVI tried to escape from Paris, which is called "The Flight to Varennes." He wanted to find help from people who still supported him, but his plan failed when he was caught. The French people felt betrayed and got even angrier with him. Later, the group in charge, called the National Convention, put the king on trial. They said he was guilty of treason for trying to run away and not supporting the revolution. He was found guilty and executed by guillotine on January 21, 1793. A guillotine is a machine that quickly beheads a person and was used for executions during this time.
