I chose this picture because I think that plants play a big role in society and the environment. In society plants are used in many ways like food, textiles, medicines, and things like soap. Plants are also important because they produce oxygen, absorbs carbon dioxide, and make habitats for animals.

I chose this video because I think that it douse a good job of explaining the prosses of photosynthesis. I also think at the way the information is presented in the video makes it easier to follow along and understand. The video also has decent visual that go along with the information that is being presented.

The tundra biome is very susceptible to many thing that can radically change it. Climate change is one of the biggest risks for the tundra changing the land scape and the species that live there. Another problem facing the tundra is industrial activity like the oil, gas, and mining industries because they damage the soil preventing vegetation from growing. Lastly air pollution also has a negative effect on the tundra because the Arctic clouds are particularly sensitive to air pollution.

One of the biggest impacts that the First Agricultural Revolution was the increase in the population. With the increase of farming more people started to clump together increasing the amount of people living near each other overall. This also means more people started to have more children because with more people living closer together the more food was averrable making it easier to have more children. Then because people are having more children there is more labor to farm food which helps produce even more food.

One of the biggest innovations to agriculture during the third agricultural revolution what the use of genetically modified plants. These plants are made to have a bigger yield and they are designed to be insect resistant. They are also designed to be virus-resistant and have a higher nutrient count. There are three types of modifications transgenic which is inserting genes from a different species, cisgenic which is inserting genes from the same species, and subgenic which is when plants are produced by altering a plant's genome without incorporation of genetic information from another source. I chose this topic because I think its one of the biggest innovations from the third agricultural revolution.

One of the most influential chemicals made from plants is Caffeine. It is found in leaves and fruits of some plants. Caffeine is also the most widely consumed psychoactive chemical in the world. It is used in many different drinks that have been very influential thought history, like tea, coffee, cocoa, and sodas like Coca-Cola. That's why I think its probably the most influential chemical made from plants.

I couldn't find a picture of the future that wasn't totally destroyed, so this is the best one I could find. I don't think the Earth will be as bad as on the left side of the picture, but if we stay as we are, it will be worse than the right side of the picture for sure. With the present day's agricultural, economic, social, and political practices that go unchecked that are happening all over the world, we will have something resembling this picture.
