When will it decide to stop the rain?

The view is dreary

It is not cheery.

At last, the sun shines on the lane

Big red rain boots bought with Christmas cash. 

Toes were wiggling. 

The boots were giggling. 

But the rain was over in a flash. 

Little do we know,
 If we made a big moment, whether good or bad,
 For one final time,
 As we see our great days.
 We smile and say,
 Goodbye. 

The sunlight was shining bright

Bees flying around

With fur as grey as the sky during a storm, 

My Eevi cat, the little kitty cat, she was born. 

Five weeks later she made it in my life, 

Little did we know she would cause some strife. 

She hates the dog, the poor old hound. 

Always waiting to attack without a sound. 

When he walks by, expecting to lay down. 

She is on the move and it’s with a frown. 

Smack! With her paw right in his face, 

And the dog still has yet to realize his place. 

Their scales cold, yet soft to the touch. 

The sound of slithering bodies and crackling leaves. 

The taste of the hunt in their eyes. 

The smell of power in their chase. 

The sight of victory when they finally catch their meal for the day. 

This word makes me feel stealthy and fierce, 

 for this word being the mighty Serpents.
