In chapter 5 Gatsby Nick and Daisy go out to a dinner, and later go to gatsby's house. Throughout the chapter Gatsby is trying to impress Daisy but show her all the nice things in his home and flaunting his wealth. Gatsby even goes as far to lie to her about how he is so rich to make her have eyes for him. At the end Nick is left in an uncomfortable third wheel position and Daisy is in awe of Gatsby.

I chose this title because most of the chapter is about Gatsby trying to win over dasiy by impressing her

In Chapter 6, Gatsby reveals his origins of his less wealthy and more humble beginnings to Nick and opens up about himself. Despite his vast amount of wealth, Gatsby remains committed to pursuing Daisy. Tensions between Daisy's last love become strained and an argument among the 3 comes soon after. Chapter 6 is a reminder of the American dream and shows how you can get anything you want in life.

I chose this title because a lot of Gatsbys past becomes revealed and his mysterious aura and persona is less emboldened.

We belive this the American Dream in this chapter is Attainable and revered because he's showing off his fancy things, and trying to impress a girl. On page 90 we see Gatsby being somewhat humble and proud of his big home that Daisy admire, and if you work hard and spend your money right you could also obtain nice things a big house. Also on the following pages we see him trying to impress young Daisy which many people were trying to do

We chose this because this chapter is more of a reflection that wealthy people get away with dumb things and typically get what they want because of their money. On pages 105 it reveals how wealth can get you far wether if its a serious situation or trying to impress someone. On the following pages we see a reflection about how Gatsby gets away with being a snob unlike Nick because of the wealth difference.

In this chapter, Gatsby and Daisy confront Tom about how they have truly felt about each other and the intent to end the marriage. The two men go back and forth between each other fighting neck and neck for Daisys love, but in the end neither man wins. Daisy throughout the fight is stressed out of her mind and cant handle the pressure of lying and breaking the hearts of either man that she loves. In an undecided battle, neither man walks away with Daisys hand but Tom did manage to bring Gatsbys assault to a hault and stop Daisy from leaving.

We chose this because Neither man was able to win over Daisy, and Daisy was super stressed out and couldnt make a decision. On pages 140 We see the man get agressive with eachother which is not how people want to see the American dream as. And on the following pages we see Daisy indecisie and ends up picking her original partner.
