Create a classroom wiki to brainstorm design solutions for homework such as how to modify a recipe/product to a more sustainable product then discuss  in class. The class chooses the voted recipe/textile project as the class assessment task.

* Group collaborative food sensory analysis. 
Create a classroom wiki with separate pages for each different food group. As students complete the sensory analysis  they add their evaluations to the wiki. Use graphs to track trends and upload. Resource can be used as exemplar for the following years unit.

* Peer pair evaluations. 
Each pair of students has their own page. Upload photographs of finished recipe/textile product. Students work in pairs and provide feedback on each others product.  Input feedback. Students have the opportunity to modify or  justify their design choices prior to the teacher assessing the end product.

* Class communication
Use a classroom wiki to create pages for group cooking so students can inform what ingredients they are providing for their assessment group function cook

I like how it allows the classroom to break the ceiling and gives all students a voice.

The teacher becomes the facilitator.

Enables students to use higher-order thinking  such as Blooms Taxonomy -Analyse and create.

SAMR- students transform from teacher-centred classroom discussions to student-led interactive classroom discussions accessible anytime, anywhere, unlimited in time and thought processes. It enables higher-order thinking and problem solving, promotes democracy and builds trust amongst the group.

Redefinition
Students create the design solution eg sustainable recipe, video record the method, create an audio sensory analysis and comparison chart between the fast food burger and the healthy recipe. 
They use an online survey  for a target audience to collect data and opinions. 
Collate data in a spreadsheet.
