A good book also has transition words to separate the different thoughts and ideas. A good book has good spelling and grammar. Next, it has a good plot and story line. A story has to draw the readers attention. Finally, the author needs to have put a lot of time and effort into the making of the book and not just scribbling in things.

We would also prefer interesting vocabulary and not repeatedly saying said. The book also needs to have good plot and not all over the place. It also needs to "hook" the readers into the story. Most good books make the reader feel.

The reader is able to understand the character's emotions and actions. The book has to appeal strongly to the reader. It can teach the reader a lesson.
