It maintains fluid levels in our body tissues by removing all fluid that leak out of our blood vessels. The Lymphatic System is important for the optimal functioning of our general and specific immune responses. The lymphatic system is a series<strong> o</strong>f vessels, ducts, and trunks that remove interstitial fluid,from the tissues and return it the blood. The lymphatic<strong> </strong>vessels are also used to transport dietary lipids and cells of the immune system. Lymph returns to venous circulation once finishes circulating through the body.  Lymphatic System includes<strong> Lymphatic Vessels, Lymph, Lymph Nodes.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Parts of the Lymphoid Organs are Thymus, Tonsils Spleen, appendix, Red bone marrow, Peyer's patches.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Hodgkin Lymphoma- malignant tumor of lymphatic tissue in the spleen and lymph nodes.<br>2. Splenomegaly- enlargement of the spleen. may be due to accumulations of infectious microorganism , typically caused by septicemia, mononucleosis, malaria or leukemia.<br>3. Elephantiasis- typically a tropical disease in which the lymphatics become clogged with parasitic roundworms, an infectious condition called filariasis. Swelling (due to edema) reaches enormous proportions.</div>]]></description>
