3. Large whiteboards for collaborative work and encourage them to take photos using OfficeLens (thanks OCA). This works really well.

4. Thinking routines from Harvard: http://www.rcsthinkfromthemiddle.com/thinking-routines.html I find these are really useful resources when stuck. They help students to think carefully and encourage meta-cognition.
