In this blog I will be posting about Prada and several other well-known designers and how their fashions clothes production kill innocent animals for their fashion garments; things like, fur, wool, leather and exotic skins. Most animal related clothing garments come from Chinese Fur Farms, Indian Slaughterhouses and the Australian Out break.

Prada S.p.A are a Italian premium fashion house which specialze in ready to wear leather and and fashion acceories.

It was founded by Mario Prada in 1913.

Where Leather Comes From

Leather is a multi-million dollar business in its own right it wouldn't be stopped. Prada produce and make thousands who fashion garments which are made out of leather although skinning animals for leather isn't seen as animal cruelty by many people.

Alligators live up to 60 years old however they are beaten to death by mallets and axes before they reach the age of two; they left un-conscious and then left in agony until they are skinned.

Snakes are skinned alive because of the mistaken belief that they live flaying makes exotic leather more supple; leather which is from unborn calves, lambs and some aborted animals and even others slaughtered pregnant; cows and ewes are considered to be a 'Luxury Leather'.

Easy lead calves are taken away from their birth mothers womb and forced to fit into little confined boxes; it usually takes calves 90 seconds to die after their mother's have been slaughtered or shot dead.

From Prada's aims and objectives we can see that you don't care about where the materials come from or their fashion garments or care for the environment and what surrounds the environment. They also have a Corporate Value which has nothing to do with their materials or what they would like to achieve to help the environment.

"I love fashion, but I think it should stay in it's place, not rule your life. It's a very nice part of your life but I think it should be fun"

Soooo Unethical!!!!!!!!

Overall Prada are such a unethical fashion company. They don't mention anything to do with where they get their materials from
