The Japanese were singled out and hated whether they were American citizens or not. Many were evacuated from America due to this accepted racism across the country. It was a way to remind Americans of why they were fighting in the war. Natalie Nickerson staring at the skull of a Japanese person was a very iconic photo that was printed during the time as it showed that the hatred towards the Japanese was amongst all Americans, even those who were very respectable human beings.</div>]]></description>
