-figure out the alibi of a 17 year old boy 
-interviewed high school students to see if they remembered  where they were 6 weeks ago
-15 years ago, January 13th, 1999
-hai goes missing
-she was supposed to pick up her little cousin and bring her home
- a month later on February 9th,
her body was found in a big park in Baltimore
-maintenance found her, her black hair poking out of a shallow grave 
-killed by manual strangulation
-boyfriend was arrested for her murder six weeks after she went missing 
-been in prison ever since
- Robbi emails this woman to help with the boys case
-everybody was shocked that he was arrested for the murder of Hai

Adnan and Hae were dating even though Adnan wasn't supposed to be dated because they are conserved Muslims. 
They feel he was angry after he put all of what he had up for risk when he dated this girl and they broke up. They feel as if he were a liar because he never told his parents what he had been doing.

-went shopping at the mall , had a conversation that Jay ad stated that Adnan said he wanted to kill Hae, Jay didnt take it seriously.
-left the mall,  Jay took him to school, dropped him off in the back of the school, Adnan left his cell phone in the car with jay and said he would call him, left the car to go kill Hae
- Calls Jay to come to best buy, where he was and opened the trunk where Hae was pretzeled up, with blue lips, dead. 
- Adnan had Hae's car, Jay was driving Adnan's car 
- They ditch Haes car at the I- 70 park and ride
-They both tooled around, smoking weed and acting like nothing had happened. 
-Jay drove Adnan back to the high school. 
- Told Jay he needed to be seen at practice as an alibi, and was bragging that he had just killed someone with his bare hands/ was proud of it. 
-he goes back for haes body and buries her in the park. 
-Was big and had big brown eyes that you cant miss
-he says that he loved Hae and he had no will to kill someone.

-This alibi was not looked into
-Her boyfriend and his best friend saw him too.
-writes him a letter about all the gossip and things that are being said about Adnan
-said she and adnan spoke for 15-20 mintues
- this alibi could have changed the result of adnans case
-called the prosecutors, and undermined her own statement. 
-she said she wrote the letters out of pressure of the family.
