What drew my attention while going down to the park , the dried leaves on the ground were giving you a story about their life how they were on the tree , swinging around and proudly on the tree but now on the ground , and I felt like trees feels the same without leave. like they are not presentable and waiting for the change that make them full and attractive . The sticks and the Parallax mind went into my inner child and I made a fairy garden with sticks tried to find some green leaves and put in my garden to make my garden beautiful .I thought about the . The Natural environment is ideal place for the children to paly and learn.

Greenman(2005) relates the qualities about natural world why it is so rich in play potential like;

Nature is beautiful

Nature is universal and timeless

Nature is unpredictable

Nature is alive with sounds

Nature nourish and heals.

(Wilson. Ruth, 2007)

Natural environments stimulates play ,from dries leaves and sticks to green baby bloomy leaves to ducks and water .This natural environments attract and develop the endless possibilities in the children's learning . I thought about Reggio Emillia teaching strategy as well being a teacher how can I provide these natural materials to the children that will enhance their learning capability also develop sense of belonging and connect with nature . Children are always curious about how the green leaf turns into brown and died and same about tree .

As I walked towards the water , strong water gurgling and splashing sound that flows over the rocks and hitting the rocks to the cross it that gave me inner calming effect reduced stress. Water, Rivers , lakes also has strong connection to Aboriginal people and First Nation People .

The Cass lynch explains the deep history sound of the water .How the climates changing and it deeply effecting on the water .The people of the land looked after the land ,rivers , and trees.

The shadow and sun lights that were reflecting on the water then I realized how far I came into this world of Nature . looking That refection gave me a dramatic effect ,when water moves ands its makes layers and then shadow moves along with the waves flow slowly with air that makes the calming effect on me.

It Connect me to ''Dadirri '' ''the Deep listening'' .There is so much to do we just need to still and wait for the right time that Aboriginal people wait for the rain to fill the Rivers. Same we should not be in the hurry to the children let them to take their time and space and let them to explore the world in their own imagination and thinking.

I thought about the article Creative , play, and the natural environment in R . Wilson- Nature and young Children ;explains about the importance of Natural environment and children .

'' the Basic Idea of the play based Education is to use the surrounding community including nature ,as the preferred classroom ''. (Louv,2006 , p. 204).

While standing near to the water my inner child emerge and started throwing sticks in the water and see which one is winning . Its beautiful to see endless possibilities of exploration in this beauty. This reminds me Walla is Life '''. Allara that shows the strong connection to the land how the life started. How the after the Rains river flows and movements is sign of life (alive).In my teaching practice children loved to explore and play with water , they loved messy play water sand play this is how they are nourish themselves also involve in large number of groups that help them to get social and define their personality .

As I got closer to the park I heard the birds chirping and ducks were quacking and kookaburra squawking sound that caught my attention .I feel like they are welcoming me to their world and I respond them in their language by loudly squawking and run towards the water and ducks .MY thought was how nature attract you , talk to you and you talk to the nature in his language that gives you peace of mind ,inner satisfaction ,make you relax . This connect me to the Murray Schafer quote

'' sound is like painting with visuals, whatever you can hear or listen the picture came into your mind ''.

I felt the same as there was traffic and cars sounds were there but I preferred to listened the sound that I like to hear.

Same with children they knows what they want to hear and play ,

According to Rache Carson (1956), the child knows the world as being ''fresh and new and beautiful ,full of wonder and excitement ''.

This unit polish me and made me think from different perspectives. This made me think how important is outdoor environment for the children .Like the Lady Allen said about Adventure playground .These has great effect on children's development .In my future practice I will focus on my outdoor setting and environment where children explore and run into their world. They can nourish themselves by getting into the environment .As I am reading this unit I am having different eyes now different perspectives. In my setting children are playing with sand and water . they are taking the water from the tap and pouring in the sand and making water ways to see how the water is flowing and water making his ways. There are so many possibilities of exploration in the outdoor environment.

In my childhood setting children are very curious about the leaf on the tree and how it change the colour and fall from the tree .

According to Sebba (1991) ,

Children perceive the world through the gift of' 'primal setting'' .

Young children learn and nature ;

-Children are fascinate with the natural world.

- Children have a unique way of knowing the natural world.
