Dear Suzanne Collins,

I loved reading Hunger Games!! It is one of my favorite books. You have to be so creative to think of all of this!! This is one of the only books that I actually enjoy reading! I love how there is so much detail!! I love all the characters!! I am so glad I read this book!! I also love how while I was reading Hunger Games I could imagine all the characters and all of the different settings in my head. Thank you so much for writing this book!!

I rate The Hunger Games book 5 stars!! I LOVED reading it and I love how when I read it I didn't want to put it down!! It is one of my favorites!! One of the only books I enjoy reading!

This image connects to the setting because this is a fancy town and the capitol is very fancy and big!! the 1st district is the nicest one and then 2, 3, 4 etc. district 12 is the worst. there used to be a district 13 but it was destroyed when the capitol bombed it.

The author believes you should make sacrifices for the people you love. one of the themes of the Hunger Games is survival. I think the theme is survival because there are 24 people in an arena. They are all trying to survive. The last person standing in the arena wins. If you win everyone will love you and you will get lots of money. Another theme could be sacrifice, I think that the theme could be sacrifice because Prim (Katniss' sister who is 12) was a tribute to the hunger games but then Katniss said she would go into the hunger games instead of Prim because she loves Prim and would rather have herself die then have Prim die. She also knew that Prim would get destroyed by the other tributes because she was so young and small.

this gif connects to the story because that is katniss trying to save rue, when rue was dying. she felt bad for rue because her own sister is 12 and if she didn't volunteer to go in the games instead of her sister (prim) would be there too. prim and rue are the same age. Katniss and rue were friends during the games because Katniss protected rue and was kind to her.

this picture of fire connects to the story because during the hunger games katniss was put through lots of challenges that were made by the game-makers one of them was they put a huge fire through the woods were katniss was. she had to try to escape it

thats an important quote because that is what effie tells the tributes before they go into the hunger games and it basically means peace be with you!!
