Answer: I think, we as teachers have to learn how to deal with the differents cognitive styles, for instances the dependent and independent field because, they can choose what they consider is more important in activities such as readings comprehension in which they will find a lot of information and they must answer very especific questions, so they can extract the information the activity is asking for, no matter the topic. The same happens with the convergent and divergent  cognitive style, because based on some ideas and information they can do conclusions, and relate ideas with others to build knowledge, working in memory its fundamental and I can relate it to my startegie because they must memorize a dialogue this will estimulate their memory ability. The activity consists on choosing an scene from one episode of Friends seen in class and act that scene in front of the classroom each member of the group must be a character from the serie.

The challenge I talked about on my presentation was to catch the students attention and make them to feel interest in the English class, so something similar occur the teacher depending on the cognitive style of the students can solve the challenge. For example: If I as teacher work on the memory of the students this will help to improve their attention span, also they can concentrate better in the class and if they understand what they are learning they will feel more comfortable so once we have the students interested on the class the learning process will be better and easier, a person with divergent learning style can associate ideas and concepts.
