The translation is “rival.” Although it doesn’t fit me much, I still do like it. As to why I like it, this is kind of nerdy, but I always have enjoyed the rival dynamic in characters, especially when it’s deep. Rivalry or being rivals always doesn’t mean pure hatred, so when I mean characters with rivalries, it can also be rivalry even if they’re close. For example, Naruto & Sasuke (who I also included in my name card to further add to this), they were rivals and fought each other countless times, but at the end of the day they were each other's closest friends and had a deep bond with each other. There are also other multiple other characters, and in conclusion, even though I really didn’t expect the meaning, I like it and it connects to me niche-ly and, and maybe from now on I can begin to rival obstacles thrown at me in life.
