Where do you see the future of user-generated content in the next 5 years?

As more people will be able to distribute their content easily, there will definitely be a rise in people dabbling with their creativity in those platforms. In five years, user-generated content may triumph the amount of legitimate and trustworthy sources on the internet, and traditional media content may dwindle in business, though I do not believe traditional media will ever fall out of business.

However, this will result in a fall of quality in user-generated content as creating our own content on the internet becomes a trend (such as in Tik Tok, Instagram and Youtube) and people will begin to create different ‘copies’ of whatever is trendy for fame. Unique and good ideas will become rare and will be much harder to gain exposure for, which may discourage creators.

(130 words)

Why do you trust or distrust the print newspapers?

I trust print newspapers as they come from legitimate journalists that are commissioned to write those articles. Printed media is hard to manipulate as it goes through various editors before it gets published, thus it feels more reliable than online media which, unless you know how to identify trusted sources, may be fake news or very biased information.

1. Will movie theaters still exist in 2030? How do you envision the film watching experience in the near future?
Yes. Although netflix or other movie-watching video sites exist, the novelty of watching on a big screen with quality surround sound is something people will still pay to enjoy. Film-watching will surely advance into more modern, perhaps bigger spaces and more comfort. More people will prefer to watch from home to avoid costs, though.

2. The major broadcast networks have been losing viewers for the past two decades. Will they still be relevant 10 years from now? Why or why not?
Yes, though significantly and much less, major broadcast networks will never run out of viewers. Connecting to things such as national news through the internet can cause lag or buffer/mechanical noise that might interrupt important information from being properly communicated.

Compare traditional radio listening with listening to a station via a mobile app. How are they different?

Listening to a radio station via mobile is accessible whenever, wherever, and it's portable. However, if you don't have internet connection, there can be a lot of noise and interference, which makes it hard to listen to. However, you can pause and replay any time you want to make sure you follow it well.
In contrast to that, traditional radios will less likely have any connection problems, so audio will always be fluid and in real time, it is the faster source of information that is definitely not manipulated (thus is trustworthy). However, it is time specific and once you miss it, or you mishear something, you'll have to listen to a recording or search for the details online, which is double the work as most people don't have the time to go on a specific time slot for the radio every time.
