I think Grammar is the theory of language which study about wording (s), and explain how language can be put together and how it can works. Genre can be defined as a culturally specific text-type which result from language (writter or spoken) to help accomplish something. And then we can conclude their connection is very important, because of genre is related to something which can be written or spoken, so it never be separated with grammar. If the genre is a text form, we can know from what the language feature (include the grammar) which is used in the text.
Thank you 😊

I think grammar is a theory of language of how language is put together and how its works. grammar also can be a structure of words. Genre is text type and can divided into three, whereas narrative (can be past or individual), report ( describing, generic, and present), and recount ( talk about itself). the relation between grammar and genre is we can see the genre of the text based on the grammar that used.
