Amendment 25 covers what happens if the President is deemed unfit for his duties. First, if the President dies, gets impeached, or resigns, the Vice President will take their place. If this were to happen, it would cause a vacancy in the Vice President's spot, in which it would be fulfilled after the new President elects them and it is approved by the majority of both houses of Congress. If the President writes to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives that they are unable to complete their job, then the Vice President will act as President until further notice. The same is true for if the Vice President, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives all agree that the President is unfit to fulfill their duties. This will take place until the President can prove otherwise.
