And people are given meanings related to their gender after their birth. This can be done too, but their families should respect their own opinions. Washing the dishes, cooking, doing the laundry and shopping are some of the gender roles which are assigned for women by society. Despite, a women can cause amazing developments in science too. For example, there are many female scientists in history.

Going to job, making money, and taking care of the house’s wealth are some of the gender roles which are assigned for men by society. However, a man can have incredible cooking skills or can go to shopping too.

 In short, a person’s skills aren’t based on their gender and everyone can be successful or interested in different topics.

When we look at the runway of women, there are a lot of other things that a woman needs to catch the man if they also want to do a career. But when we look at the men and their perspectives, they don't really need to survive anything, they just can just work and get paid for it. On this point, we can also talk about the pay gap. According to the last data, women's average weekly ordinary full-time earnings across all industries and occupations was $1,609.00 compared to men's average weekly ordinary full-time earnings of $1,872.90. This means that on average, women earned $263.90 less than men. So there is definitely an inequality and thereby we can connect this problem with the 5th SDG, "Gender Equality". To stop this, we can use SDG #10, Reduced Inequalities. With this, we can make the inequality gap between men and women less and make life more comfortable and balanced for both men and women. To conclude, we can solve the problem of gender inequality in the workplace between men and women, but it is up to people.

When we consider the barriers in front of women, it is not possible to talk about gender equality. Firstly; jobs such as washing the laundry, cleaning the house, cooking and taking care of the children are imposed on women due to social norms. This results in women having much less time to develop themselves than men. Secondly, often times, women earn less than men while doing the same job.  For this reason, women are withdrawing even more from the business world as their workforce is seen worthless. Lastly, the education given to women is quite inadequate in various parts of the world. Due to the unconsciousness of people in underdeveloped countries, women cannot be brought into society by not getting quality education.
