This film is about two aboriginals living in some kind of camp in Austrailia. Life is hard and there are not much to do about it. Samson, choose to not have a job, he is just walking around sniffing gasoil. He is living with some other young men in the camp, properly his brothers. They are having a band where samson is not allowed to join, because he is bad and crazy. He is good at hunting so he is not starving. Then there is Delilah. Delilah is living with her old grandma. Their way of surviving is to make these special aboriginal paintings and sell them. Samson is fascinated by Delilah and therefore he starts following her.  Delilah don't like samson and keeps throwing him out. One day Delilahs grandmother is dead, this leads to that the woman of the city beats up Delilah. This makes Samson mad so he gets crazy. In the night he takes delilah and the escape by car into a city. The citylife is even worse, but the two starts loving each other. Delilah is having a rough time she gets kidnapped and no one wants to help her. So she also starts sniffing. Later she gets runned over by a car makes them go home. When they come back they move out to a old house of Delilahs. Here they live a humble but good life.

Samson’s life is miserable in the extreme. He sleeps on a thin-rubber mattress and spends much of his day listening to the radio, sniffing petrol, which alleviates his physical hunger and boredom, and trying to amuse himself.
