One time management technique I used to use all the time in school during exams, was study for each subject for an hour a day, and the extra according to whatever exam I would be sitting next. It helped me study from most to least importance to do well in all areas.

A sure fire time management technique I use everyday on a 10 year old who could not wake up early enough for school, was for her to be organised the evening before school, school uniform ready, school books ready, lunch made, shoes polished, this saved all the hassle for the 'Morning Madness'. I lead by example and I have all my gear organised for 'Morning peace'. It sounds mundane and normal, however for a 10 year old whom expected everything to be done for her was a real wake up. She is now 16 years old and she is very organised, she is even organising her younger siblings and I am proud of her that she has maintained an important skill setting herself up for a bright future.

The best Time Management Technique I have found is making my own office space with everything I need around me, setting times of the day where I work best and making sure other people in the house know not to disturb me during that time. Gets a bit tricky with a 7 year when they are home but generally food and youtube are enough to keep him distracted :)
