Remember that time you got COVID-19? Well, I sure do. When I got COVID in 2022 it seemed like it would be a pretty terrible experience. But luckily, thanks to some luck and several dozen pills combined with vaccinations it was only mildly uncomfortable. Honestly, I am lucky that I didn’t catch COVID back in 2020 or 2021 when it was at its worst. But hey, maybe with COVID doing what it does people can start to realise current issues plaguing us and try to fix them rather than ignoring the issues by living a monotonous, day-to-day life where you just eat, go to work, go back home, pay taxes, and go to sleep. So truly, to end off this personal reflection, I was lucky to catch COVID when I did even if catching it was unlucky. Not to mention that COVID could truly end up being more of a blessing than a curse since it has given us all time to think. So future me, remember, always be overly cautious when a plague goes around. When the vaccine or cure for it comes out then take it immediately. I sure do. But hey, we aged out of that soon enough. Only took about 14 years for us to realise that we had a passion for programming more than engineering. But hey, chances are that you in the future may have either chosen Aeronautical Engineering or another field anyway. I just preferred programming after taking engineering because it was relatively simple, it was faster, and it was a lot more fun than engineering. I still hold a liking for engineering but only in games and such. Real-life engineering is just too uneventful and complex. Meanwhile, programming is what makes a robot a robot and is very eventful since a code error could result in a hilarious outcome vs it resulting in you needing to start over because the robot exploded or something. But hey, in conclusion, no matter what field you chase in the future, just remember your 2 original passions and maybe try to learn LUA or something simple like that, for my sake.
