In 1878 Eadward Muybridge was one of the first people to make a movie. It was called The Horse in Motion, and was only 3 seconds long. He is known for using multiple cameras to capture motion in stop-motion photography, and his zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting motion pictures that was used before the film strip was invented.

It takes about 5-8 months to make a movie. A casting agent is usually the person to get the actors. They sell the film to stars and do the hiring. Filming takes lots of time. One scene can end up being only 1 minute in the final movie but can take 5 hours to film. After filming everything, you have to edit, and create a rough cut of the movie. Then you can add in music, visual effects, and color correction.

Special effects are illusions or visual tricks. They are used when things cannot be captured during live action. They were first made in 1902 in the movie Le Voyage Dans la Lune. Many movies use computer-generated imagery (CGI). This involves doing special effects on a computer rather than physically. The Avengers: Endgame used special effects and was the top ranked movie in 2019. It made the most money last year for a total of about $858,373,000.

To begin I am doing a report on Epic Games. In 1991 Tim Sweeney created Epic Games. Tim Sweeney Was born in 1970 in Potomac, Maryland and went to University Of Maryland. He studded Mechanical Engineering.

In February 2012, Sweeney was inducted into the Academy of interactive Arts And Sciences (AIAS) Hall of Fame for his Unreal Engine. This led to letting people do what they wanted to do without having to work there. This meant that you build your map.

Some popular games that Epic Games made is Fortnite battle royal. Fortnite is a fun player verses player (p.v.p) battle game with skins back blings and more like that. Another key game is Epic Paint Ball witch sounds like another p.v.p game that you play first person paint ball. The last key game I will talk about is Unreal Engine.

At epic games there are 1000’s of employees witch is a lot for a company that has only been out for a little bit. Some of the jobs that are needed to run the company are:

Accounting Manager

FX Artist

Gameplay Programmer

Level Designer

Technical Artist.

these are some of the skills you need to work at Epic Games. They are:

A background in game design, computer science, or technical art

Excellent communication skills

Skilled troubleshooter

Experience with computer languages

Strong mathematical skills

Experience working with any of the current generation of consoles

Willing to accept and respond to critical feedback.

In the end Epic Games is a fantastic game company as well they have great animations and make awesome games that millions of people have bought or spent money on.

Facts about the Moon

The moon is 238,900 miles away from the earth. It takes about 3 days to get to the moon from earth. 12 people have been on the moon and 4 of them are still alive today. The moon is about 150 million kilometres away from the sun. The moon is 1,079.4 mi big. The moon is 4.53 years old today. John Heywood claimed the moon was made of cheese. There are many nicknames for the moon like luna, tungi, kuu, hli, cap, yoreh, maan, mweiz, bulan, marama, ay, selen, and more and more. The moon is importent because it has guided humans for thousands of years. And that is all I have left.
