         <title>LESSON 5 - September 26th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>          After greeting each other, we started to play a hangman. Besides enjoying the activity, we could revise colours and toys. I encouraged my students to pay attention when they pronounced the sound /r/ in red and robot.<br><br>          I gave in hand a photocopy to play the game "Listen and find". The card had got different toys. Before starting the activity, I asked them many questions like What is this? and I pointed a toy or Is it a plane? What colour is it? Where is it? Is it on the desk?. When I thought they were reliable about the vocabulary we started to play. I esplained the game and gave some examples: "Black - one" and asked What is this? and some of them asked: "It is a ball". They enjoyed the activity but they wanted to say the instructions, so in turns they say a number and colour to their mates.<br>Not only they enjoyed, but also they could practise their pronunciation and their listening skill. This was our first activity.<br><br>          In the second activity, I wrote on the board some questions that students have to answer with the game card. They did not like coping but there was not another option. Some students had to finished the task at home.<br><br>          Time went by pretty fast, our lesson had finished so I took them to their classroom.<br><br>         I was very happy because they enjoyed the activities, they understood the instruction in English, so I was very pleased. </strong></div>]]></description>

         <title>LESSON 3 - September 13th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>          I went to my children^s classroom and we walked to the English classroom together. While we were walking we were talking about interesting moments about their lives.<br><br>           While they were in their break, I organized the desks in a horseshoe. They were surprised when they got into the room, but they found a place to sit quicky. <br><br>          The last classes we were working with toys, so for the warm up I took a big red bag full of toys. I took some of them from the bag and made questions like: "Is it a robot?" and encouraged them to made full answers. "Yes, it is" or "No, it isn^t" when they answered in a negative way I asked "What is it?" The idea was to introduce the question:"What is it?" with the full answer "It is a ..." So when they said the word only y said all the answer.<br><br>          Then, I asked students to copy the date and I wrote the question What is this?, and I sticked a picture about a toy on the board, and then I wrote the answer: "It is a robot." Students copied it and drew a robot. They loved drawing. <br><br>         Then we practiced orally some questions with flashcards where they had to guess the toy because it was not complete We were ready to complete activity 1. So I wrote some questions and answers that they had to complete them. They could practise their grammar and writing skill. While they were working I was walking around the class to help them and check their work<br><br> .         Bingo time!!! They love playing games, so I thought about a bingo card with toys, while they enjoyed they practise their listening skill. And some of them they practise their pronunciation because they made my work. The winners had some sweets, and the others only two. After a while it was break time, so they put their books away and left the classroom.</div>]]></description>

         <title>LESSON 1 - August 30th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>          It was my first class, although I had shared with them two observation classes,  it was not the same. It was an active and hardworking group so that gave me calm. <br><br>          For the warm up, I revised personal questions like What is your name? Where are you from? How old are you? They were not used to using English language all time, so it was challenge. I explained the instructions when I took out a ball, they have to say something about themselves and pass the ball. First I introduced myself with my name, age, town and my favourite colour. Then I passed it to a child and all said something, ones were faster and better than others but it was great. Then I asked some questions, I wanted to learn some names, but it is a hard work for me. They practised their speaking and listening skill, it was easy because most of them were good. <br><br>          We were ready for the first activity. I wrote some toys on the board, I explained them it was a birthday list. They had to listen a girl talking about her birthday list, so they had to number them. After that we read and checked. They were not used to listening a CD, so it was not a strange moment, because there were some of them that did not understand.<br><br>           Activity 1 was a stressfull activity for some of them, so I proposed a more relaxing one. The first time I wrote lines and they had to guess the toy. They had to ask me Is it a...? and I answerd in full: Yes, it is or No, it isn^t. Then some of them wanted to draw, and passed to the board. They had to answer in full, too.<br><br>          Before the class was over,  wrote on the board "My beautiful presents list for my birthday". I gave this activity as homework.  They had to write 3 presents and draw them. After they copied the instructions, they put their books away and I took them back to their classroom.</div>]]></description>

         <title>LESSON 2 - August 6th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>          I was ready on time to meet my children. While we were walking to our English classroom I was talking to revise their names.<br><br>          Once they had sat on their seats, we started to revised my students names with questions like Are you Lucas? What is your name? Then I introduced my age, I said that I was not 9 , I was 51, and then I asked them How old are you? If some of them could not answer I asked Are you 9? So I encouraged them to participate.<br> At least it was funny because everybody could say something..</div><div><br>          While they were coping the date, I stuck some pictures on the board and wrote the "The princess and the Teddy Bear". I took out a lovely castle and a princess. When they were ready I asked them "Who is a Princess? I named Jasmine and they said a lot of names like Ariel, Rapunzel, Aurora Then I showed the castle and said  "Look!!! Is it a house? Is it a castle? Then we talked about princess and where they lived. <br><br>          After thatI wrote some words on the board, they had to copy them. I explained that when we listen the story they have to underline the words that they listen.  They could practise their listening skill and leat we checked them orally. Children went to the board and underline the words they had listen, we checked all together. This was the activity 1.<br><br>          We were ready to start activity 2.  I gave them a photocopy with the story, but with missing words. In a cloud they had them. First I read the story loud, they took out vocabulary, it was the fist time they had a long story so it was a hard work for them. After that, I asked them to read and predict some words. It was not a problem if they could not. They listened the story twice, then we checked the words. Some of them could read, and the other who were shame I encouraged them to read a bit.<br><br>           They were tired so the next activity was more relaxing. I asked questions about the story and about themselves like Is the Princess s name Lucy? What is the Princess name? What is her favourite toy? And yours? What colour is the Teddy Bear? Is big or small? Is Polly seven? How old is Lucy? And you? They could improve and practise their listening and speaking skills. It was an enjoyable moment. <br><br>          And the time rushed. It was time to go back to their classroom. </div>]]></description>

         <title>LESSON 4 - September 20th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>          As the last classes I went for my students at their classroom. We walked and talked until we got into our English classroom. They had their desk in a horseshoe, so they sat and we started the class. <br> <br>          For the warm up, I took pictures about 4 different toys. I showed and asked questions about them. The pictures were : a robot, a doll, a soldier and a teddy bear.  It was good moment where in almost all the students participated. They were relaxed so they could practise questions and answer without pressure. It always great when we made oral work.</div><div><br>          I invited to make a circle in the middle of the classroom. They liked so much moving around the classroom. Then I gave them a card with the different toys that we had been revising. While I was giving the card, I asked individually about the toy.  When each student had a card, I explained the activity. I would tell a story and when I name the toy they have in their hands they have to change places. We practiced once. Then I made up a story like this: One day in my bedroom my toys weren´t sleeping. My robot was crying. (so robots have to change places) The robot (again) was talking with the soldier. The soldier was not crying, he was listening to the robot. Suddenly the doll said “I am sad too, poor robot!!!” But the teddy bear shouted“Poor robot? No Poor soldier!!! He has been listening to the robot for a long time!!! So the soldier said: This robot is my friend!! Like you teddy bear and you doll. Please help him!!! I helped understanding of the story through miming and different voices. It was a great activity and students enjoyed a lot.<br><br>          They were not calm, and the next activity would make a revolution in the classroom. First, students sat on their seats, they wrote the date, and I explained the new activity. I gave them a balloom with the parts of two questions, answers and a picture of a toy. They blew it up and then exploded it to find the parts of the questions and answers. Then they had to build the questions and answers and stick them on their notebooks. It was a incredible time, students were fun.<br><br>          Time was over, they put their books away and left the classroom.</div>]]></description>

         <title>LESSON 6 - October 11th </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>          I was there, my last class, time rushed and I was finishing another stage. I went for my children at their classroom, they were ready, they always were ready. They like English class a lot. They love their teacher Angelita =)<br><br>          We continued working with toys and prepositions of place. The last class, nothing new, we revised only. My students liked moving, they hated being sitting on their seats, so prepared a game. They love games. As each class I had ordered the desk in a horseshoe, so when they went into the classroom they chose a seat. Inmediately I asked them to stand in front of their desk. They liked the idea. First we revise vocobulary like hands, body, desk, and thing that we could find close. Then we revise preposition of place, I said the preposition, they mimed it. Now it was time to explained the activity. I said an instruction and you had to obey. For example "Sit on the floor". "touch your head". Then I encourage them to say an intruction to their mates in turns.</div><div><br>          We played for a while, then I asked to sit down on their seats and looked for the last photocopy. When everybody had it in thier hands, we started the next activity. Frist, orally I asked questions about the toys, revising again the prepositions of place.Then, I encouraged them to ask questins to their mates. Finallly I asked them to open their notebooks, write the date and copy the excesise that I was writing on the board. It was a homework, so they had to complete it at home.First I asked about doubts. I think that it is important for students to have homeworks, they have the opportunity to revise knowledge, clear doubts. Once time a week, 40  minutes it no time enough.<br> <br>          Last class, last game. Bingo made crazy them, so we played bingo again., this time I added colours on the toys. First I said the words, then I asked a student to do the job. <br><br>         I enjoyed each class, each moment, and I said that to my children. I felt grateful with them, I was sure that they had learnt, improve their English. We had new experiences as explained all the activities in English, or read a short story. I was very happy and satisfied. The bell rang and they were free to go into the break. </div>]]></description>
