I'm grateful to be able to live with my parents during these stressful times. Their company subconsciously boosts your strength which you may not notice. I had my soap box presentation today. The way my complete family came together for it just by helping me out during my preparations with timely food, moral support and some prayers are something that you won't appreciate in the short run, but these are the things that matter. I'm grateful to have them with me during these times :)

I'm grateful for the status quo. It could have been much, much worse.

I am grateful that compared to midterms, I feel a little more confident and less overwhelmed. I get super anxious before exams but the the past exam experience helped me manage expectations better. Slow progress is progress too. Friends are helping, that goes without saying. Glad that I can just pick up the phone and ask away, no matter how silly

I spoke to Shanky, ALC Director for Co'20, for the first time a few days before submitting my nomination. Since then, he not only has guided me but also has been my stress buster and cheerleader. He also made it a point to celebrate my election results. The dedication and zeal he impersonates, motivate me and are added reasons for me to take pride in being the ALC Director after him. This was also the first time I stepped out in 3.5 months.

I am grateful for WhatsApp, it makes connecting with people easier, I like the sectional group conversations and attempt that everyone is making to be inclusive. It feels nice. I had not attended any meet ups so I was banking on getting to campus and making friends. Once DHM was announced I was afraid of not making friends, I am not a texter, and I prefer face to face conversations. Thankfully, the section has been super inclusive and I am grateful for that. It feels nice to not feel like an outsider or an observer!
