         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is one of the grandest Viking ships, besides the&nbsp;Oslo Fjord in Norway. The Gokstad ship was excavated in 1880. The&nbsp;elegant lines of the prow and strakes show the skill of the ship builders. The ship is 76 ft. long and 17 ft. wide.</p>]]></description>
