Athena was the ruler and protector or Athens. Athens is in Greece and Greece is in Europe. Percilies was the creator of Athens most famous buildings, he wanted the buildings to be immortal.

Athens- still thrives today- very famous for its building and life- different periods of the busy city- famous buildings- named after the goddess of wisdom, Athena and my favorite goddess.

Acropolis- very famous people lived near the acropolis, on the hill that it was on- temple of gods and goddesses-mostly destroyed by the war(s).

I KNOW MORE BUT AIDAN TOLD ME TO STOP!

I would like to know more about the gods and goddesses.

I know that in 480 B.C the Acropolis was burnt down. The soldiers of Athens were ambushed by about 1 million Persian soldiers. Athens is a city in Greece that was named after Athena (the Greek goddess).

I want to know more about the Trojan war, the Trojan horse and Troy.

k- I know that they believed in many gods and that the protector and ruler of Athens is Athena. Acropolis means the high point of the city. This is where the important people lived and where the people worshiped the gods. The Parthenon is a very important building in Athens.

w- I want to know more about the history of Athens and also what Athens is like today. Are the traditions the same or do they have different beliefs?

K - I know that Acropolis was destroyed in 480 bc by the Persians. I also know that it was rebuilt in 460 bc. with the help of Pericles and took on a more modern form om architecture in 450 bc. Acropolis means the high part of the city and that was where the processions of the festivals went and also where most of the famous buildings and temples were built. This was also where people went to worship the gods and goddesses. Now, Athens has 5,000,000 people in it. Athens was and is the most famous and popular of the city-states. Some people did not believe that Troy and the Trojan war ever existed.

W - I would like to know all of the names and jobs of the gods and goddesses. I would also like to know what some other popular city-states were.

K- Zeus is the king of gods and god of the sky. Hera is Zeus's wife the goddess of marriage. Athena is Zeus's daughter from a wife he once had who he ate and Athena came out his forehead, her sign was an owl she was the goddess of wisdom and war craft. Hades was Zeus's brother the god of the underworld. W- What did they eat? What was sport?
