The bottom of the rocket is the engine. The engine gives the rocket the fuel and power to fly the spacecraft. The fins at the bottom of the spacecraft are for steering and for stability. The payload section of a rocket is where the passengers put their stuff and where the passengers sta

A rocket works by exhaust gases coming out of the engine and push the rocket forward/upwards. In the engine, it consists of mostly two things and that is fuel and oxygen or nitrogen. The reason it comes out and pushes the rocket forward is because the fuel and oxygen are mixed together and explode in the combustion chamber, and is then passed through a nozzle to produce thrust.

Why My Rocket is Different From Others

My rocket is similar to other satellites and probes, but it has a difference. The Space Launch System is used to take payload into the atmosphere and gain information about space. But others are mainly used to gain more information about space itself. The Space Launch System offers more payload mass than others. It also offers more energy to speed missions through space more than any current space vehicle. It is designed to be more flexible and evolvable and will open more and newer possibilities for payloads. This includes robotic scientific missions such as to the Moon, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter.

Design affects the height and distance a rocket flies because parts such as the nose cone make the rocket more aerodynamic so the rocket will fly faster. Other parts such as the wings help steer and make the rocket more stable as it flies. Design affects it because everything has a purpose to help the rocket fly and accomplish what the mission the rocket was sent out for.
