For example, my first two years teaching 4th Grade, I would ask the students to raise their hand if they owned their own cell phone. To my surprise, I did have students who owned their own "working" cell phone! I thought it was crazy and emphasized how I didn't get a cell phone until I started working at Taco Bell during my junior year in High School!

Sometimes as new teachers I feel that we need to recognize burnout for what it is, and more importantly take the steps to recover from it.
