Most recently Liz Youngblood served as the CEO of the University of Mississippi Medical Center Adult Hospitals and Clinics, part of a 720-bed nonprofit Level 1 trauma facility and academic health system. With headquarters in Jackson, the comprehensive UMMC system consists of six health sciences schools and six hospitals throughout the state of Mississippi. In addition to her work at UMMC, Liz Youngblood serves her community both personally and professionally. She has been a member of the board of directors for the Mississippi Hospital Association, the Mississippi chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the SMU Cox School of Business Alumni Board. She also served as president of the Jackson/Vicksburg Council of the Mississippi Hospital Association and the vice chair of the Trauma Regional Advisory Council.
