Youtube TV was launched in 2017, and quickly became one of their more popular platforms. Youtube TV takes up 40% of the virtual multichannel video programming distributor market (live tv internet streaming) with over 12% of all streaming tv watch time as well. It offers over 100 channels and has the highest customer satisfaction rating of TV service providers today. It quickly beat out competitors like hulu + live tv and sling tv. This massive offshoot of youtube has not taken anything away from the success of classic Youtube videos, and now they are succeeding across multiple markets.
