Other than the 1st team squad for Hartpury College, is there a 2nd XI / reserve team etc? How many of these teams are there? Do they play competitive league fixtures throughout the academic year?

On the assessment day parents talk, we were told that you would receive one of two emails, either you’re Son was challenging for a place in the 1st or 2nd team, or that unfortunately you’re not at this time. Am I right to assume that this was incorrect and that we just don’t hear anything if unsuccessful?
