This podcast is an adult podcast that is very explicit in its language and topics. Although it is not necessarily school appropriate, I wanted to share it because I appreciated that it discusses many aspects of sexuality and disability that are not often talked about or normalized but should be. The host of the podcast Andrew Gurza shares his own stories and brings guests on to talk about their stories about interesectionality of sex and disability.

This Netflix original movie is a family and kids movie that follows the character Noah, who is an eleven year old with social anxiety, as he navigates middle school. The movie is a light hearted comedy that teaches kids about inclusivity and empathy. Although it is not entirely accurate in its depiction of the role of services animals vs emotional support animals, I still feel it has other lessons that make it a good movie for kids and teens. A very positive aspect of the movie is that one of the main characters Amara is played by Sophie Jaewon Kim who has Muscular Dystrophy.
