·      The teacher played the welcome song as a warm up for students 

·      The teacher discussed the learning outcomes of unit 1 birthday lesson one and two 

·      then she asked her students to open page one of their class book and he explained how to write information about themselves 

·      Then she asked students to write their personal information on their class book and their skills book 

·      she asked students to look at an example that she provided for all students demonstrating the way of writing personal information 

·      Then students wrote the personal information and participated with the teacher in this activity 

·      then she provided ABCD song where students should sing along with this song to revise the letters 

·      then they sing and write the alphabet letters on their skills book using small letters 

·      she asked students to look at page two and three of their class book and they look at the birthday party and she discussed with the students the birthday party and what is happening there

·      Then she showed the students a video about the question how many and this video demonstrated well the question and pointed to the present in the birthday party which is good to introduce the birthday party to students 

·       and they started counting where is today object like balloons cakes and birthday cards emphasizing on the question how many then the teacher demonstrated and showed the students the answers of the activity 

·      When the teacher provided a video of a rule bleh where the first person will ask what is it and their second person answering it is a watch it is a football and so on 

·      And the teacher reflected that the students were interested and excited during this activity because of the new experience despite the problems that they faced because this is the first synchronous lesson on Microsoft teams on distance E learning 

·      after that she asked students to read sentences and identify the birthday objects from these sentences where she provided colorful pictures with simple sentences

·      then he asked the students to read the sentence is and match the pictures to these words on Word wall application 

·      then she gave the spelling words to students and asked them to do it on base 66 of their skills book and revise it for the next lesson 

·      the teacher pointed out that if she taught the lesson again, she will be faster in covering all the materials that she prepared where she will manage her time better than what she did during this lesson also she pointed out that if she did the lesson again it will be with less mistakes and she will provide more creative ideas 

·      The teacher pointed out that the students where active and helpful during the lesson and she is proud of them

·      The teacher used PowerPoint with many colorful pictures videos and songs to attract students attention and to achieve the learning outcomes 

·      the teacher is trying to overcome with technological problems that she faced during the first synchronous lesson where she faced problems and sharing the screen with her students on Microsoft themes and he faced net connection problems 

 

Ø The teacher discussed the learning outcomes where the students will revise the most important vocabulary

Ø The teacher revised the synchronous lesson rules where the students have to prepare three things and bring their skills book, class book and their classroom objects like pencils and she discussed the classroom rules 

Ø The teacher did a warm up activity where she send a link of an educational game on the chat where the students have to identify the objects and differentiate between them 

Ø then the teacher started revising the vocabulary that the student learned in the previous lessons such as (a watch, a football, a birthday card) also she revised asking questions using the form what is it? and the students have to say a full sentence practicing the new vocabulary such as it is a watch, it is a kite and so on. 

Ø In the practice stage, the teacher covered some objects by using aluminum and students have to guess the objects by carefully examining the shapes of these covered objects; the teacher will ask what is it? and the student will answer it is a bell or it is a football. The activity of guessing objects gave the students opportunity to think and gave their own suggestions 

Ø The teacher reported that the students were excited to discover the hidden objects and they participated a lot with the teacher; so the teacher introduced her lesson well as the students were active during the lesson especially this activity and they gave the teacher lots of examples 

Ø the teacher asked students to open page 6 on class book so they look at the covered present and ask what is it? the students have to do a role play where the first student will ask what is it and the second student will guess the answer saying it is a football for example then the students will read the full sentence and search for the a picture of the covered object which they think it represents or match the sentence 

Ø The teacher nominated random students to answer that activity where they first did it individually and then they check it with the class; the teacher used the names list to choose students which is good to not repeat the same students. 

Ø In the production stage, the teacher asked student to open their class book page 7 where the first character will ask the question what is it? and the second character will guess the covered object by saying it is a watch for example. the good point that the teacher provided the main vocabulary so the students will be able to form their full sentences easily so the student did the this activity individually and then they did a whole class check.

Ø The teacher provided some educational games to revise the main vocabulary in the lesson using the word wall application where the students match the sentences with the pictures representing them. she did the 1st item as a demonstration for students so they understand what to do in this activity. the students enjoyed this activity and it seems that most of them acquired the new vocabulary well 

Ø at the end, the teacher provided a homework for students where the students have to write a question using what is it? and an answer for that question like it is a football so the teacher did the production stage for students well to ensure that they understood the lesson effectively.

Ø the teacher managed her time well during the lesson and she provided interactive activities for students to engage them during the synchronous lesson 

Ø the teacher conducted individual activities whole class activities and peer activities 

Ø the teacher used the technology well with her students to achieve the learning objectives of the lesson 

Ø she used attractive materials, colorful pictures and interactive educational games to raise students motivation during the lesson 

Ø the teacher provided activities which take into account individual differences during the lesson 

Ø the teacher demonstrated a good example of classroom management during synchronous lessons and she controlled the students use of microphones and cameras well

·      then the teacher asked students to open their class book where they listen to certain characters talking about birthday months and the students complete the missing words in that dialogue

·      then she asked students to open page 11 on class book where they will speak to their family members and ask them about their birthday months and they will note it down 

·      the students evaluated their performance on the unit 

·      at the end, the teacher gave short reading texts the students where they will read the text and answer the multiple choice questions focusing on that lesson in the production stage

v In the future the teacher will provide more activities for students to practice writing thank you letter 

v the teacher was proud of her students as they were able to write thank you letter individually 

v There is a noticeable improvement in the teacher technological skills where she is becoming more skillful in using Microsoft Teams with her students during synchronous lessons

Ø he asked students to look at page 23 of their class book where they will look at the mirrors and read the questions to answer them by yes and no questions practicing the adjectives and the teacher provided a demonstration for the students before they do this activity

Ø then she asked students to read the words of prepositions where we read the word and look at the representing picture to understand the meaning in the introduction stage 

Ø she showed the students a video about prepositions and explained them 

Ø she asked students to answer an activity on their skills book page 21 about prepositions in the practice stage 

Ø she provided check for answers at the end of the activity as a whole class 

Ø at the end the teacher introduced the spelling words for the next class and let the students practice them as they will spell the words of this lesson in the next class 

 

Ø notice: the teacher didn't provide a homework as asynchronous activity 

Ø the teacher is improving noticeably in following the steps of producing effective synchronous lessons 

Ø The teacher reflected well on her synchronous lesson where she started by recalling the lesson and the learning outcomes 

Ø The teacher pointed out that the students were interested in the lesson and they were active during the lesson and they go to the main idea of the lesson 

Ø In the future plans the teacher pointed out bet she will give more examples for the coming lessons to make the lesson easier for students as they run out of time 

 I am proud of teaching this lesson because the students were active and enjoyable, they understand how to ask and answer questions and gave me lots of examples because I gave weak students the important vocabulary to form the questions easily. Also, I asked different student to participate randomly so everyone have a chance. I am proud also I used some activities and games in word wall app and student like it also and I feel they understand more like this way. 

If I taught this lesson again, I will use the same way by using power point programmer which involved the pages of the student's books with some examples and games. But I will use more strateges for controlling online class because it effect the lesson when they open mics without telling the teacher.  
What I learned about teaching process, that don’t be complicated during the teaching process, use the easiest methods to let your students understand the information and your explanation.

I was worry that, students will not be able to write thanks letter which was the most important part but they enjoyed the lesson ad wrote their own thanks letter because I gave the important vocabulary to weak students and because I planed the steps of the writing in a careful way step by step and I feel they learn something in this step. 

Also I am proud because I used microsoft forms to do reading quiz with different levels and asked different levels to do different quiz and like this I can see who understand the lesson and who not understand and this is the high point because students did well. it was an easy and interesting lesson i was proud that student send the home work fastly which was in the class book and they will ask family at home about their birthday months to complete H.W. and I am proud because I use less and less Arabic and more English and I feel that I will keep using same strategies and TPR because it work with my class more and more.

if i taught this two lessons again i  would add more activities with some videos to be sure that they get the full idea about the lessons. Also I will still need to learn more of strategies to control my class and I will attend lessons and search the net to solve this difficulty.
