On average, the month of July has the highest amount of rainfall and temperature, while February has the lowest amount of rain. February, April, November, and December have the lowest temperatures out of the other months. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Latitude of the Deciduous Forest is approximately 123 degrees S and 72 degrees N. The altitude ranges from 1000 ft to about 4000 ft. This biome gets lots of cold and warm air which is why the temperature is not consistent. Because they are found in middle latitudes, the forest's change with the climate of the seasons. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The raccoon has dirt colored fur that allows it to be camouflaged to  hide from predators. The raccoons eyes are high on the head, and has a flexible neck that allows the animal to rotate its head. This gives the raccoon better vision, which allows it to spot food and predators. They have a  "thermoneutral" zone that can go to lower temperatures than humans. </div>]]></description>

They start in spring so that they can get as much sunlight as they can before the taller trees grow their leaves and block the sun. Some of the food captured is stored and used until next spring comes. They also make a sugar solution to keep the cold winter from freezing their stems.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Acid rain is caused by industrial and car fumes. The rain damages the leaves and causes trees to produce  a smaller amount of trees. Trees are also cut down to clear the land for farming and for use of the timber. Also, non-native plant and animal species compete for space and food, which is threatening to the native species. </div>]]></description>
