When I was applying for that job I was told I would live in a room at a youth hostel in a friendly neighbourhood in the immediate vicinity of the sports centre. However, upon my arrival, I found out that the hostel I was supposed to live in was closed due to renovation. For that reason, I was moved into another youth hostel which turned out to be located in a crime-ridden neighbourhood ten kilometers away from the sports centre. Moreover, there wasn’t any direct transportation route I could take to get to my workplace. Hence, I had to catch a train and a bus, which cost me half of my weekly earnings.

HR-department was unable to pay extra for my transportation expenses, and therefore, please could you consider compensating my underpayment in any way possible. I would be very grateful if you could do that.

My father has recently had a serious car accident. This unfortunate incident has incapacitated him and I must return home. My father is quite an independent person, so he is extremely concerned not to be a burden to me. He is determined that I should further my career abroad, but, as our family very tightly knit, I cannot be totally absent at such a difficult time.

I presume it would be only natural for you to assume that this could be a recurring problem. Please let me assure you that it will not. My sister is returning home from university course abroad on 15^th March and she will be able to take full-time care of our father.

I know that you were very insistent that I start work at the beginning of March because the current engineer is leaving soon after 1^st March so that there could be a handover period. In the given circumstances, I would be only too happy to spend some time in the company unpaid before I leave in order to get some experience in the future job under the supervision of the current post holder.

I hope you will understand my predicament and will accept my suggested solution.

I have greatly enjoyed working at “ABC School” company for the past two years. In those years, I have become an integral member of the team, and have invested almost all my time in this job. Disappointingly, I have to resign from this position because of moving to another city.

However, the principal reason for writing in this occasion is to express my dissatisfaction with inadequate compensation. As you are doubtless aware, all the teachers were involved in preparations for the summer camp, I have developed a detailed plan for the first week, your  teachers can take this plan and work without any preparations, as it’s written in apprehensible way.

This work was an amazing experience of planning, nevertheless I had to spend a lot of my time on it to make it in a quality manner.  Therefore, I please could you consider finding a way of paying extra charge for my extra work.

My name is Mary Muntz, I was a successful applicant for the position of assistant systems engineer. It was supposed to start at the beginning of March. I regret to say that I must request for a delay of 2 weeks. 

The matter is that my father lives by his own and unfortunate incident has disabled him, that is why I have to return home for not a long period of time and arrange home care. It would be natural for you to realize that this might happen again, but I assure you that If something happens next time, my sister, who is returning home from university course abroad in 2 weeks, could deal with it.
