The nucleus is the control center of a cell. The control room would be the nucleus of a police station because it's where all the controlling happens and it's where they get the phone calls from people in need of assistance.

Ribosomes

Ribosomes make proteins and proteins repair damage in a cell. The police officers would be the ribosomes because they are like the workers. They do all the work in the police station.

Cell Membrane

The cell membrane protects the cell from its surroundings. An electric fence protects a police station because it keeps things out that aren't wanted or aren't wanted and helps protect the building and the people inside.

Mitochondria

The mitochondria produces the energy currency in a cell. In a police station, the energy (electricity), is created by a power box that controls all the lighting and different electricity.

Nucleolus

The nucleolus assembles the ribosomes (the workers). The nucleolus would be the sheriff because it assembles the officers and leads them in what they need to do.

Golgi Apparatus

The Golgi Apparatus transports things in and out of the cell. In a police station, the Golgi Apparatus would be a police car, because the police car takes things and people in and out of the station.

ER

The ER moves things along in the cell. IN a police station, the ER would be the investigation room. It gets things moving in the station by taking people in, getting their information, and sending them out.

Lysosomes

The lysosomes remove waste. In a police station, the lysosomes would be the janitors. They clean up the station.

Cytoskeleton

The Cytoskeleton gives the cell shape and moves organelles around. In a police station, the cytoskeleton would be the actual building, the walls of the building. It gives the police station a form and helps to move the things inside around in a structure.

Vesicles

In a cell, the vesicles are responsible for many things, one being enzyme storage. In a police station, the vesicles would be the storage room because it keeps the information.
