Learning to be able to successfully study and replicate another artists work was really helpful, and a skill that a lot of people use in other art mediums. having a grasp on how to use adobe programs is also quite helpful!

My least favorite project in VAT was the logos project. I thought it wasn't as fun as the other projects and was just a little tedious.

It's a class where you don't have to worry about any tests or homework. I enjoy this class because it's a nice break in my day.

The crazy 8 was the first project that I really didn't like. There was little to no freedom with it and it was worse that you had to find 8 specific photos, and I'm the kind of person that wants everything to go together, so finding pictures was even harder for me. 8 pictures blended together how I wanted was not something that occurred and it made me frustrated and I didn't really like it.
And the fact that this whole time we had been using Photoshop and then illustrator came out of no where and that's what we had you use the rest of the year other than the digital painting. It was too much to learn in a short amount of time, (too much to get used to) and I took "too much time" per logo and began to fall behind. It snowballed from there.

I would have liked to see more projects where we were given creative freedom to chose what we wanted to work with and how. The only projects truly like that were the digital painting, the less is more, and the Surrealism (though the surrealism should have that big of a picture limit.) I also wish that we did more with the 12 pictures that we had to take, because it seemed like we took the time to take the photos and did absolutely nothing with them.

Surrealism and the digital paintings where definitely the best. The digital painting was fun and really took some time to get a certain thing looking right. The surreal painting brought creativity and though to the table.

the best projects in this class were in my opinion, were the surreal artworks and the Geraldine Georges projects

Vat is that one class that you look forward to and it can be your highlight of the day. It's extremely fun and I liked the idea of creating art with technology

I really loved this class! I never thought I'd be able to make the artwork I did in this class and I'm very glad I did. I will miss Mrs Bentle and this class as a whole next year! Thank you Mrs. Bentle for always staying so positive and for being my favorite teacher:)

Other's should take VAT because it teaches you skills for Photoshop that may be useful in the future and is also a fun class that's a break from the stress of the day. It's also a computer credit which you need to graduate.
