Throughout the years dragons can be found in in movies from Hollywood to the pages of a paperback book. These creatures have even earned the title "the emblem of fantasy". For the most part dragons contain these basic similarities: fire breathing, lizard like body covered in scales, posess rows of razor sharp teeth, and a pair of bat like wings. Yet this is were the similarities tend to stop. In different works of media the dragon can range from a intellectual beast to a raging monster

Historians say that the idea of Dragons likely evolved independently in Asia, and Europe, then spread from there. The believed start to the myth was with the discovery of fossilized Dinosaur bones. There is no real evidence, however, where or when the first dragons appeared. It is known that dragon myths date back to the time of the Greeks, with dragons like the well known Hydra.
