My name is Niña Jane Ano-os, I was often called Nene. I was born on July 22, 2002, at Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. My mother’s name is Luzviminda Ano-os, she is from Mabinay, Negros Oriental and my father is Nonito Ano-os, he is from Cebu City Cebu. We are four siblings in the family, but my older brother and sister are just my half sibling so apparently, I’m the oldest child of my father. My family live a simple life at Proper Guba Cebu City, and we live in a simple house located far away from our neighborhood. Our Sunday is always a worship day. We are proud member of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO and my whole family is very dedicated in worshiping our Lord God.

I started going to school at the age of 3, this is because I’m so attached with my cousin so when they start going to school, I beg my mom to enroll me to the school too. I took my elementary education at Guba Elementary School and my secondary education at Guba National High School because this is the nearest school located from my house, but I transferred at Vicente B. Cosido Memorial National High School in my senior years. In my second grade I became a choir member of our church and became an organist in my ninth grade.

I learned to love reading when I’m in grade 5, when my teacher obliged us to spend our 30 minutes of our lunch break in the library. Until it became a hobby, I would always look for books to read. In my free time if I’m not practicing and learning how to play the organ, I’m reading books.

I have a very small group of friends, because even though I am bubbly, and very talkative, I always find it so hard to interact with new people. I’m always found getting along with boys and both of my elementary and high school buddy are boys. But I have my girl best ever friend. She is pretty and very girly, and she is the reason why I know girly stuffs. In addition in 12th grade God give me small yet true and amazing friends.

In my first grade, I wanted to be a teacher. The primary reason was, I also wanted to receive cards, flowers, and chocolates on teacher’s day but as I grow up, I started considering other profession. But when the time comes that I must choose a course, one thing that came to my mind was “teacher”.

Now, that I’m older when I make decisions there is a lot of things I need to consider. One of this is financially, my mother is often sick that is why she can’t work so all of us depend on our father. My older brother and sister were both married so they have their own responsibilities. Luckily, I got scholarship and had the privilege to pursue my dream for free that is to go to college. So now I have to work hard to achieve my goal and fight over the challenges and strive hard to survive so that one day I can repay at least a little bit of my parent’s sacrifices for us.
