Oratorical speeches are usually quite long and formal type of speech.It can be used in settings where the speaker can persuade and educate numbers of people.It can be in school, to celebrate events such as Founding Anniversary , and in the community for the leaders to stress on community problems and possible solutions.This speech by Syed Sarim is an example of an oratorical speech stressed on addressing the issue on the never ending plead for justice and equality for Black Americans.

Syed Sarim a 7th grader speaker, began his piece for the contest by asking his audience to imagine if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was still alive seeing what they currently face.He said that the doctor will not sit there and keep his mouth shut but instead he will encourage his fellow Americans to be loud against racial distrust.In his speech he talked about the injustice they are receiving and so he wanted to persuade his audience to not remain silent for just like what Dr. Martin stated on March 8,1965 “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”.He also reminded them how important love and forgiveness is as a constant attitude  according to Dr. King.As he end his speech, he was able to say that co-existing with the path of Dr. King and protesting discrimination of any kind will help them to make United States of America indeed uniting.

It’s interesting that the speaker was just a 7th grader, and even if the speech was mainly for the contest ,I think he was able to show that the content and the message is more than just to bag the trophy for it’s communicating and speaking in behalf of all the ones who can not use their voice, something that not all at the same stage as him can do.The line “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter” is so much relatable even for the non americans because we usually believe that it’s best to just keep our mouth shut and let people do whatever they want to do as long as we know the right thing , but in this speech I realized that it’s not always like that for all the people because sometimes it’s best to be loud especially on things that’s just just to be echoed.

Motivational speech is a type of speech that aims to influence its audience. The speakers of this type of speech may use life testimonies or life situations that are relatable to the audience for them to be easily transformed, influenced, or motivated towards reaching their goals.This speech by evangelist speaker ‚Nick Vujicic ,which is entitled "Never Give Up" is a perfect example of a motivational speech.The speaker shared his life testimony to serve as an inspiration for the students to be able to push them to recognize Jesus Christ in their life and live in hope in life of unending obstacles.

The speaker , Nick Vujicic, is a man with no arms and legs but has a great voice driven by his unwavering faith.In his speech, he shared how he suffered from depression because of what matters to other people, his physical appearance.He admitted that it was hard for him to deal with it and that it reached the point where he even asked his parents why does he grew up like that but he got no answer.He could’ve just complained and refuse that God is real but he stood there in front of his audience and told them that when they feel alone and weak they just have to find their strength which is Jesus Christ.He said that failure is part of life and that it doesn’t matter if you fail a hundred times for as long as you’re not yet giving up, rising up is still possible.In the end of his speech, he was able to impart the idea that if a man with no arms and legs can manage to rise and move forward then definitely you also can, through Jesus Christ our strength.

The  world now feels so full  of worldly people which is sad.Only few are those you meet who still believe in Christ and even me sometimes forgets that he exists.Through this speech of Nick Vujicic , it’s as if I hear alarms reminding me to do good and to be good at all times.The speaker has no arms and legs but through his faith, I know that he can arrive to where he belongs.What makes it so much interesting is that it is a speech that only lasts for 8 minutes but can impact your life all throughout your existence.

Hailey Hardcastle started her mental health journey when she was six years old. She was doing great in school but later on they found out that she has Trauma-Induced Anxiety and Clinical Depression. This made her growing up pretty hard. She mentioned that this was all happening during a time when mental health wasn't talked about as much as it is now.  She delivers her speech for the reason that she offers some insights into the world of teenage mental health. She also mentioned that her hometown was touched by multiple suicides during her first year in high school. With those happenings, as a President of statewide group, she held a forum with about 100 students to discuss Teenage Mental Health. Hailey and her colleagues made a committee called "Students For A Healthy Oregon", with the help  of few Mental Health Professionals, they put House Bill 2191. After they researched and campaigned for their bill, it was signed into Law in June of 2019. House Bill 2191 is really special because of the core concept behind it that physical and mental health are equal and should be treated as such. In ending her speech, she said that "It is okay not to be okay" and "It is okay to take a break".

Mental health issues these days are quite popular due to the reports of teenagers taking their own lives, especially here in Baguio City. I see a lot of news spreading online and this speech caught my attention owing that I am a teenager that spends most of my time in school being exhausted and tired almost everyday. This speech persuades me to be strong enough for myself and learn how to take a break whenever I need it. This speech is not only for me but for all individuals, especially the youth.

For example, in class, a teacher may ask a student to give a short impromptu speech about a topic that was in the assigned readings. Business meetings may also start with everyone talking briefly about what they have done recently on the project.

In small informal meetings, the audience will interrupt an impromptu speech and ask questions, which helps guide the speech and the information that is presented.

When campaigning, politicians sometimes respond to reporters or voters almost anywhere and at any time.

Comedians are well known for their impromptu replies to hecklers, which are sometimes planned, but usually made up on the spot.
