Sa school po sa province namin wala po masyadong school na merong class sa mga may special needs. Dapat po ay mas mabigyan pang pansin kahit ano man kalagayan o kahit anong sitwasyon nila ay dapat maabot pa rin sila ng edukasyon. Isa lang po ang school na may class for special needs sa bayan namin.

Sa tingin niyo po ba ay possible na magkaroon ng teaching environment na group setting for children with Down Syndrome/ASD given that iba’t iba po ang manifestation/level ng kanilang mental age/capacity to learn?

If so, ay papaano po ang implementation nito? Since mahalaga rin po ang social groups for development ng tao.

May specific allocated budget po ba ang DEPED for this specific classes? Most po kasi ng kakilala ko na children with special needs ay sa private schools naka-enroll dahil mas accessible. Given na mahal ang private schools, maraming bata ang hindi nakakakuha ng education na need nila, ano po ang plan or vision niyo regarding this case?

Question lang po, when it comes to SPED inclusive schools and facilities here sa Philippines. Sobra-sobra po ba sa kakulangan ang kakayahan ng ating Gobyerno or bansa natin in general, na magprovide ng facilities and sapat po ba ang teachers? If I compare po sa other countries (as a basis lang po), may idea po ba kayo kung how far po ang gap natin?

Sir Clarenz mentioned that it takes a village to raise a child, and even more so for a child with special needs. Since everyone has a role in supporting them, I would like to ask on how can we help parents or older generations, especially that in our culture where these conditions are still seen as taboo, realize that having special needs isn’t a disease to be cured, but something that should be understood, accepted, and supported? Also, how can we, as students, help children with special needs?
