Pro: Having the opportunity to collaborate with staff and share ideas in regards to instruction, classroom engagement, modified instruction, and assessment. It allows the chance to colleagues to connect and bring to the table their areas of interest, strength, and even struggles. You get the chance to learn from one another and each other teaching styles. Some of my best lessons have been developed from the help of a fellow colleague.

Con: You can run into competing personalities. If teaching styles do not mesh or one teacher is close minded, it can create an awkward dynamic that does not provide effective instruction.
