meowing in my lap,

the sound is like a mountain spring

or a calming breeze

I love the sight of a cat,

the patterns on their fur

and their huge eyes,

their sharp teeth and

the way they eat the rats

that invade my house.

Their multi-colored fur

is soothing to the eye.

I love the feel of a cat,

it feels like a soft pillow

you lay your head on and rest,

it's like a fur blanket

protecting you from the cold,

or a fluffy coat if snow.

The calming scenery,

the birds calling in the night,

it's as if the whole world stops.

The mountains are like a sanctuary,

The calming exercise of a steep hike

put the rest of the world on mute,

and all your problems float away.

My querencia is the mountains,

They are so peaceful and calm,

like they are the only thing that matters,

It's as if the scenery is speaking to you.

The trees of pine and fir,

are so beautiful and calm,

And the view from the cliffs,

is like you are dreaming.

Their stupid similes,

and moronic metaphors,

It's as if some idiot

just jotted down some random words

that don't even make sense together,

and called it a day!

I loathe the sight of poetry,

The irrelevant pictures

they make you think of,

Sometimes I feel like the poet

doesn't even know how to construct

a proper sentence!

I mean, half of the things they describe

are just lines in the sand.

I am insulted by the feel of poetry,

Idiotic love poems

leave me dumbfounded attempting to

figure out what they are trying to say!

stabbing pumpkins​

to make them better​.

The fall air​

is cold and calm​

with red and brown​

leaves on the ground​.

The little kid​

is holding up​

his prized artwork​

for all to see.​

They are the richest men​,

But no matter how much​

Gold they have,​

There is still a gap in their soul​

From the things they did​

To their fellow people​.

So, if you want to be bad,​

Think about this,​

If you steal from others​,

You are really stealing happiness​

From yourself.
