It feels like so long ago, but I'd say my greatest moment from this class was the book report we did. We were allowed to read graphic novels, which I hadn't been allowed to read for any school projects before. Prior to that assignment I'd never read books for enjoyment, it was always only if I had to. However, that assignment re-ignited my love of reading. This year was honestly so tough and I'm pretty sure we can all relate to it but what we can all say in the end is WE DID IT! Our hard work payed off and we now get a break. As for our teachers, thank you for everything you've done as well, I don't think anyone understands how hard it can be being a teacher having to teach multiple classes, staying up late and grading everyone's work and overall, keeping it cool cause you sure did, so thank you. Walt Whitman is a very big part of civil war history, and history is something that I take great passion in, so it was nice to have my favorite history subject tied in with English class. Harrison Bergeron was so shocking and eye opening, and it revealed to me an amazing author that I had never heard of before. I also really liked learning about Nixon because it was a part of the history of America that I didn't know much about, and it made me think a lot. Overall, I really enjoyed this class and I will remember it for years to come!
