         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Reign of Terror was a very dark time for France. France at this time was under the dictatorship of&nbsp; Maximilien Robespierre for as long as twelve years. To make matters worse&nbsp; a new mechanism was made. The guillotine was used to decapitate anyone who was a criminal or defied the National Assembly.With this event taking place even neighboring countries were threatening and being threatened by France. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Social Contract</strong>: The social Contract was a political agreement made by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Thomas Hobes, and&nbsp; John Lock. This contract was made so that the state rights were more protected rather than individual rights.<strong><br>John Locke:</strong> He was a philosopher during the time of the Enlightenment. His beliefs were more reality then idealism. He was a great figure for the French.<strong><br>Great Fear: </strong>The Great Fear was in 1789. This was a time with riots and panic because a rumor was spread that the king and privileged&nbsp; would get rid of of the third estate.<strong><br>Three Estates: </strong>The Three Estates was when the society was divided into three classes. Those classes were, the first estate(clergy), the second estate(nobility), the third&nbsp; estate(Bourgeoisie, wage earners, peasants).<strong><br>Old Regime: </strong>The Old Regime was a monarchic, aristocratic, social and political system that was left behind at the start of the revolution. <strong><br>King Louis XVI:</strong> He was the king of France. King Louis was not a very good King and all French citizens could agree.He was kicked out of the throne during the Reign of Terror. He was killed&nbsp; by the guillotine.<strong><br>Natural Rights: </strong>The Natural Rights that were put on the Declaration of the Rights of Man. A few of those rights were freedom of speech, freedom of religion, men are born free and equal and lastly, no man can be arrested without trail.<strong><br>Tennis Court Oath: </strong>The Tennis Court was the first meeting that had been&nbsp; held in 175 years. This meeting was located at a tennis court&nbsp; outside of Paris where the National Assembly pledged to meet everyday until they had&nbsp; a new constitution. These meetings were also held in secrecy.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

A political and economic reason the Fench Revolution came to be  by the King and Queen themselves. They would both live lavashly and would spend money. Lastly, one social condition that gave rise to the French Revolution was that the third not being supported throught the reign of King Louis XVI  and that is when they had enough. </div>]]></description>
