If I send someone in to make a payment, you should absolutely be able to accommodate the payment. It doesn't matter if it's cash, check, or card--it can be accepted. I've had a gentleman be turned away TWICE and this is not OK. There may be a disconnect with what's going on, and if this is the case, why have I not received questions from staff? Please, please, please do not tell a patron "no" when s/he wants to make a payment. As I've said before, you need to contact me when you're unsure.
