Students are often forced to fit this common standard in order to be labeled a successful student, but as we know, not all students learn the same. For example, often times students are limited to taking a written test to prove they have met a common core standard. How can we provide students with more choices within the classroom to help them succeed and show their own strengths and drive their own learning?

I think that giving students different options to complete assignments would help students show off their strengths and interests in the classroom. For example, certain projects could give students the option to draw, build models, or write songs about the course material in order to show that they have an understanding.

5. One thing students often complain about when collaborating a project is when one or more persons in the groups doesn't pull his/her weight. Having students involved in creating their own method of presenting can help with the equalization of work in a project. When the work is shared it is easier to assess student learning.
