In order to become a U.S. citizen you would have to be qualified as a non American citizen. The requirement is to be born in another country and not have both parents born in the U.S. If a person is that, then they would have to obtain a green card to enter the U.S.. In order to obtain this you would have to be 18 years old. With this green card you must live in the U.S. for 5 years (3 years if married to a U.S. citizen). Then you would send out a form to be naturalized and after that a background check would be needed or ensure you are law biding citizen and not a spy. Once all this is complete you would have to study for your citizen ship tests, with the help of a fluent English speaker and be you would have to be informed about writing and speaking english and also familiarize your self with U.S. history. Once you pass that, you are now a citizen.

To study for the citizen ship tests you would have to research before hand all 100 questions that could be used (out of these 100 questions only 20 will be used os it is better to study all of them). You would study English reading and writing and American history. To further help, it is recommended to take practices quizzes online as well as YouTube videos. It is also recommended to take this slow and to study one question a day

In order to be a good citizen it is important to follow the laws and do things for your community. To follow the law means to do wat is morally right and to do what is enforced upon you, these things for example is, don't litter,don't publicly drink,no trespassing, no violence. If you follow the laws set in your state, that means you are doing your responsibility as a U.S. citizen. What is also important is to volunteer for things in your community like food drives or donating clothes or money to good causes and taking part in search groups. doing this shows initiative and responsibility

There are rights given to U.S, citizens like the "Bill Of Rights" in this bill it talks about your first ten rights given to you like the freedom of speech,right to bear arms,right to petition. These rights are given to us to protect us from harm and unfair treatment from state officials and our first responders. With these rights we also have responsibilities like paying taxes and reporting crime.

Something I value about the U.S.

Something that I value about the U.S. is the freedom of speech and the right to impeach. Freedom of speech is important becuase it slows a citizen to not be censored in what they say and instead have a voice among others. This gives you a chance to communicate better with everyone and also a second chance of freedom if you are in trial for a crime you may or may not have done. The right to impeach is important as well because it would be a bad thing if one day the president starts having signs of a mental disorder or disease and cant make facial based decisions any more and causes the country to down spiral. Impeaching the president ensures that there will be a new president that will be more fit for the roll. Impeaching isn't just for presidents but it can be used for other state officials as well.
